Different from the others (Thompsons Idea)

Some of the decisions I've made in life could be concidered different and my life might be concidered different from others too. When I decided I was going to play the bassoon, everyone said that was different. I'm the only chile that lives at home and most of my friends have siblings at their houses so I guess that's different too. My family situation (it's not bad or anything) is different from a lot of people I know concidering I don't know one of my brothers and I have a step-brother and for 7 years I thought I actually was an only child. My taste in music is different from other types. I have wierd friends, but I guess that's normal haha. When I tell people that I've lived in Missouri they think that's kind of facinating. I get along with adults more than the average teenager because I've been around them my whole life.

I guess I'm different from a lot of people, but know one is the same as the other person. We're all different in our own ways some of them good and some of them aren't very good. In the end though we all get along and I think that's because of our differences. People are interested in things they've never done before and when you meet someone that's been skydiving you want to know about that. I guess it's a good thing I'm different from my friends and family, because I don't like being the same because it's boring. I love myself and who I am(: ...that was really cheesy haha.

Songs of my life(:

There's a few songs out there that I hate and every time I listen to them I get really annoyed. I think Lady Gaga annoys me the most, her songs are catchy and all but after the fifth time I'm just done with it. Her are a few songs that I love though.

"Follow Me" by Uncle Kracker

You don't know how you met me
You don't know why
You can't turn around and say goodbye
All you know is when I'm with you
I make you free
And swim through your veins like a fish in the sea
I'm singin'
[CHORUS]
Follow me everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you
Want to leave I can guarantee
You won't find nobody else like me
I'm not worried 'bout the ring you wear
Cuz as long as no one knows than nobody can care
You're feelin' guilty and I'm well aware
But you don't look ashamed and baby I'm not scared
I'm singin'
[REPEAT CHORUS]
Won't give you money
I can't give you the sky
You're better off if you don't ask why
I'm not the reason that you go astray and
We'll be all right if you don't ask me to stay
[REPEAT CHORUS]
You don't know how you met me
You don't know why
You can't turn around and say goodbye
All you know is when I'm with you
I make you free
And swim through your veins like a fish in the sea
I'm singin'
[REPEAT CHORUS]

I have this song memorized since I was three and I still love it even if I don't know the meaning too well it's a great song.

"Someone Like You" By Adele

I heard that you're settled down
That you found a girl and you're married now.
I heard that your dreams came true.
Guess she gave you things I didn't give to you.
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain't like you to hold back or hide from the light.
I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it.
I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me it isn't over
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
"I'll remember", you said,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead,
Yeah.
You know how the time flies
Only yesterday it was the time of our lives
We were born and raised
In a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days
I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn't stay away, I couldn't fight it.
I had hoped you'd see my face and that you'd be reminded
That for me it isn't over, yeah.
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
"I'll remember", you said,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.
Nothing compares
No worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes
They are memories made.
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
"I'll remember", you said,
Sometimes it lasts in love
But sometimes it hurts instead.
Never mind, I'll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don't forget me, I beg
"I'll remember", you said,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.

The Very first time I heard this song I loved it and now I'm learning to play it on the piano I don't think I'll ever get sick of it!

The Little Visits to the Doc

I hate the doctors! I really do! I mean yeah...sure... they help you and all, but that's after the little tortures you have to go through beforehand. No, I'm not talking about getting shots or anything because I rarely get those dumb things.. I'm talking about going to the eye doctors! Scary stuff right there. I had to have my eyes dilated, and if you've never had it done it feels really weird. They numb your eyes and then they put this weird blue light on your eye and then it goes all blurring and you can't see for hours.

Now if you know me, can you imagine what I was going through and saying while my eyesight was rapidly getting worse. I was freaking out! I just kept rambling on about how I couldn't see the labels of the hand sanitizer or the business card to my left or my fingers! I couldn't see my fingers!! I was hysterical and I'm pretty sure everyone that heard me while I was there was like, "who in the heck is that crazy person in there?" My Mother on the other hand was sitting in a chair across the room laughing at me!" I wasn't really in pain, but still she was laughing at me telling me that I was a freak. That was the last thing I wanted to here.

On our way home I realized that I had to finish a packet in science, write two essays, and do my math homework. That was when I thought I was going to fail the 9th grade. If I couldn't see my hands imagine how hard it was going to be for me to see words in a book. I got so tired of people texting me because I couldn't understand what they were saying so I just turned my phone off. I then had a huge headache from the ride home and fell asleep for about an hour, by that time it was 6 P.M. and I hadn't done anything. I knew I was going to be screwed.

Besides my homework, my pupils were gigantic, I had to wear these weird eye cover things, and when I was able to take them off everything looked yellow. When I finally got to see my eyes I couldn't see anything but my pupil, I have to admit I looked like a creepy weird freak with huge black eyes. I've now learned that when your doctor asks you if you want to have your eyes dilated, say no. No!! I don't ever want to do that again and if I do, I'll have someone to drive me back and it'll be on a weekend.

Life Lesson #5: Once again, you're going to learn from my mistakes, schedule your doctors appointments on weekends. Life Lesson #6 Have someone with  you that can drive, because you won't want to be driving after that. Life Lesson #7 Say no!! If you have no idea what's going to happen to you, just say, "No thank you." Life Lesson #8 If you have homework, don't procrastinate. And Life Lesson #9 Don't fall asleep, that was a big mistake too I think on my part I couldn't have had an extra hour to do homework and I didn't do it. I hope you have a nice weekend or week whenever you're reading this, and be thankful you can see the computer screen(:

Homework 101

Homework  (hmwûrk)
n. 1. Work, such as schoolwork or piecework, that is done at home.

Also known as pointless junk that I dislike very much, but I have so much right now. Life lesson #2: (#1 was in my last post) go to school and never miss a day if you can, if you're like on your death bed or just really sick... please, please, don't go to school. We wouldn't want you to have an accident. Anyway, go to school everyday because if you don't you'll have to make up a lot of work that you missed.

Life lesson #3: Don't get too stressed out about your grades and homework, the more you stress out the more your work will stink. Relax a little before you do your work and when you think you're at the point where you're going to do the best essay in the world, hurry and do it. I've learned this from past experience... my mistakes in life will help you with yours.

Life lesson #4: Stay positive, if you say you're going to fail a test, chances are you probably will. I know this doesn't sound very supportive but just deal with it. The day you're going to have a huge test or a quiz or anything important for that matter just say, "I'm not going to fail, I'm going to get an A+ on this test, and I'm going to do the best work I've ever done in my life." Good luck. I hope you enjoyed reading this, and I hope it will help you in life. Have a nice day.

Nothing turning into something

Blog. It sounds like a disease, just say it, "blog". It could also be used as an insult, "You little blog". I never had a blog before that I actually used and will use for a while. I usually just set them up thinking I'll write stuff for a really long time and it will be really cool, but that never actually happens. I run at of things to say because in the beginning I really have no idea what I'm going to even talk about.

Life lesson number one: Don't start a blog without an idea, and with that idea you need to be able to expand on it. I feel sometimes that I have really good advise and I might just put that advise on my posts. Please, do not be afraid to tell me my advise sucks, I never follow it anyway, unless it super duper good advise.  Now I've run out of things to say, I learned that when I just ramble on I'll come up with an idea or two. So I'll just say a lot about nothing until I get a great idea.

I've always wondered how we get ideas into our brain. I guess our brains are just cool like that. I mean they do everything for us. They're really useful and we couldn't live without them. Brain's are the best of friends, they're always there for you, they help you when you need them, they can save your life and on and on and you get the picture. Did you know that when a baby is born there brain weighs about one pound and adult brains are about 3 pounds? well, now you know. It's also 77-78% water and can live 4 to 6 minutes without oxygen, after that the cell begin to die. If you haven't noticed my idea was about brains, and now you learned a couple things from me... unless you already knew that.

Blog Post #1

Hello World!
